Guarani FC, also known as simply Guarani are a prominent Brazilian football club based in Campinas, Sao Paulo. Founded in 1911, Guarani has a rich history and is recognized for both its passionate fan base and competitive spirit.

Guarani play their home games at the Estadio Brinco de Ouro and has been the clubs base since 1953. With a current capacity of close to 30,000 the stadium has a unique eastern stand that towers over the rest of the ground. The stadium hosted matches for the 2014 FIFA World Cup and has made the venue a symbol of local pride in Campinas.

In 1978 Guarani won the prestigious Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A, which remains the club’s most significant achievement to date. Led by club legends Careca and Zenon, Guarani defeated local rivals Palmeiras in the final to clinch the title. During this golden period, the club also claimed two State Championships (Campeonato Paulista) in 1978 and 1982. These victories cemented Guarani’s status as a formidable force in Brazilian state football.
